Eagle Hill Homes is a design & build company run by a husband and wife team. After years of renovating homes together, this young and eager couple launched a residential construction, design & development business mid-pandemic and it is growing beyond their wildest dreams!

Position Type: Part Time

Schedule: 15-20 hours per week

Location: Will work out of our office in Melrose, MA. Work from home options available, but the ideal candidate will be able to be in office a few days a week.  

Pay: Dependent upon experience ($18-$21 per hour)

Ideal candidates will be flexible, organized, reliable and energetic. They should have good instincts and a positive attitude. They should be able to express themselves well verbally and in writing.

Education: Hi, Sam here. I have a degree in Marketing, and Graphic Design and here I am a female General Contractor and designer running a rapidly growing business. You don’t need a degree to tell you what you’re good at. Have a passion for organization? Design? Real Estate? Love the idea of helping organize a business? Do you feel some type of “high” when checking things off your to-do list? Are you the person who never forgets to follow up? Do you like the idea of learning the construction and design industry? Honestly… are you a good person? Excited to be a part of a team envoirment? Looking forward to taking your Type-A organized mind and using it to propel the business forward? Thats what we’re looking for. 

Experience: Proficient in Word, Excel, Gmail. A general understanding of Buildertrend and Asana is a plus. (But I mean lets be honest if you don’t know it, I know you can learn it)

This role is for you if…

You are so organized you can’t leave the house without making your bed…. Lol. Kidding… but also not. We are really looking for someone who can handle a boat load of admin tasks for us, while in tandem learning the process and lingo of a residential design & build company. We need someone who values communication, is extremely thorough, and detail oriented, but also someone who likes to have fun, joke around, and enjoys a Friday afternoon ice cream break.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  •  Send PO’s from Buildertrend to Sub contractors

  • Submit building permits with city/town

  • Request for inspections

  • Research and call building departments with permit questions

  • Manage Insurance Certificates with subcontractors

  • Send intro emails to subs for buildertrend (& follow Up)

  • Send intro emails to clients for buildertrend

  • Assistance in Job Book creation

  • General Assistance to our Design Coordinator

  • Assistance in creation of our “After the project guide”

  • Request reviews from clients 

  • Request Dumpsters to job sites

  • Place lumber orders with vendors

  • Order portable toilet to job sites

  • Ensure all invoices & payments get uploaded to google drive

  • Coordinate site visits with clients on behalf of team

  • Email sub contractors schedule updates for jobs

  • Assist with social media strategy
